On Sunday, March 9, former South Side High School standout Tyler Smith’s current college team, the South Alabama Jaguars, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

The game took place at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Jaguars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 4 p.m. at Eddie Stanky Field against Ole Miss Rebels.
