5.7% of Henderson County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Henderson County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 701 people out of the 27,800 living in Henderson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Henderson County has decreased compared to the 7.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Henderson County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.
