2021 has 12.2% of Hardeman County residents unemployed

Hardeman County recorded an unemployment rate of 12.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,190 people out of the 25,612 living in Hardeman County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Hardeman County has decreased compared to the 13.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Hardeman County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
