The Lane College baseball team hosted Benedict College this weekend to open their 2023 home slate.
The Dragons swept the Tigers to move to 3-6 in conference play for the year.
Zion LaGrone led the way at the plate, going 5-for-9 over three games and driving in six runs.
Zach Baker carried a .600 on-base percentage for the weekend, scored five runs, and had five RBI. Baker also picked up a win in relief in game one of the series.
Ben Cardella picked up his first win of the season on Sunday, going 5.0 innings and allowing just one earned run while striking out eight batters.
