Kelvin Allen/Men's Basketball | Lane College
The Lane College men's basketball team picked up their second straight road victory on Monday with a division win against Tuskegee University.
The Dragons feel behind early as the hosts built a double-digit lead with just over 12 minutes remaining in the first half. The visitors responded with a 9-0 run highlighted by a steal and fast break layup by Kelvin Allen to make it a two point game.
The teams would then swap runs to close out the half with Lane striking last and taking a 30-29 lead into the locker room.
The second half was a different story as the Dragons led all but 31 seconds of the final frame and gutting out a tough divisional road win to inch closer to .500 in conference play.
Julian Eziukwu led the way with 15 points and nine rebounds. Allen finished with 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and seven rebounds.
Lane will again be on the road this Saturday when they head to Memphis for a matchup with rival LeMoyne-Owen. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
