The Lane College Dragons visited the Spring Hill Badgers on Saturday afternoon at Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center for a matchup of SIAC West rivals.
The two teams traded buckets in the opening minutes, but the Dragons hit the gas just before the first media timeout and never looked back, leading by as many as 12 and cruising to a 10-point victory.
Lane utilized their transition offense to build an early lead, out scoring the hosts 10-2 in fast break points in the first half.
Floyd Williams paced the Lane offense, turning in a well-rounded performance that saw him go 7-for-11 from the field including 4-of-7 from behind the arc and 7-of-8 from the free throw line. The sophomore guard finished with 25 points and five rebounds.
Kylan Haywood added 14 points while Maximillion Bell finished with 13 points.
The Dragons are again on the road this coming Monday when they take on Tuskegee at 7:30 PM.
