Lane College Briefly Specific Threat to the "Chapel" | Lane College
Lane College briefly ceased operations at 11:53 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2022, after the Jackson Police Department received a specific threat to the “chapel.” Out of an abundance of caution, employees exited the campus while police searched the facilities after an alleged bomb threat was made at Lane. At 1:15 p.m., Lane College was given the “all clear” by law enforcement. Lane appreciates the quick response from local law enforcement and the Lane College Safety and Security team that ensured the safety of faculty, staff, and students.
