On Sunday, March 23, former South Side High School standout Sharnecce Currie-Jelks’ current collegiate team the Indiana Hoosiers lost 64-53 against the South Carolina Gamecocks in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Colonial Life Arena, this was the first game against the South Carolina Gamecocks during the championship.
Sharnecce Currie-Jelks’ hometown is Jackson and game position is forward.
