On Friday, March 21, former South Side High School standout Sharnecce Currie-Jelks’ current collegiate team the Indiana Hoosiers won 76-68 against the Utah Utes in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Colonial Life Arena, this was the first game against the Utah Utes during the championship.
The Indiana Hoosiers’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 7 p.m. in Colonial Life Arena against South Carolina Gamecocks.
Sharnecce Currie-Jelks’ hometown is Jackson and game position is forward.
