Senator Bill Hagerty, U.S. Senator from Tennessee and member of several Senate committees, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account highlighting key national events and local traditions.
On April 10, 2026, Hagerty expressed support for Kevin Warsh as a candidate to lead the Federal Reserve. He wrote, “I’ve known Kevin Warsh for decades, and I am pleased that my colleagues on both sides of the aisle are taking the opportunity to meet him. Kevin is the man for the moment to lead the Federal Reserve. I look forward to his hearing and getting him confirmed in short order.”
The following day, April 11, 2026, Hagerty congratulated NASA and its partners after a successful lunar mission. He stated, “Congratulations to the heroic crew and the brilliant men and women of NASA and our space industry on a flawless mission to the moon and triumphant return to Earth! American innovation and courage was on full display with Artemis II. Onward and upward!”
Later that same day, Hagerty marked Mule Day in Columbia, Tennessee by posting: “Happy Mule Day! Always enjoy being in Columbia to celebrate this cherished Tennessee tradition.”
Senator Hagerty has served as U.S. Senator from Tennessee since his election; he hails from Sumner County where he achieved Eagle Scout rank.
