In a post dated August 29, 2025, he stated: “Yesterday, France, Germany, and the U.K. triggered snapback sanctions on Iran. With Iran’s nuclear ambitions, drone transfers to Russia, and continued acts of aggression, restoring full UN/EU sanctions is not just overdue—it’s critical. Iran must never have a nuclear weapon.” The statement refers to actions by European nations reimposing sanctions against Iran due to concerns over its nuclear program and regional activities.
