The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its softball weekly honors, released by the league office on Wednesday, and for the second time this season, Millay Lambert (Lane) was named Player of the Week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Millay Lambert, Lane

Utility Player  |  Senior  |  Florence, AL

Lambert helped the Dragons to a 6-0 week, playing in all six games and batting .565 (15-for-23). The senior had 10 RBI and scored seven runs. She had seven extra base hits on the week including three home runs.Playing in all 16 games so far this season, Lambert is currently second in the league in batting average (.577), first in doubles (6), hits (30), home runs (5), and runs scored (23). Her 30 hits ranks third nationally and her .577 batting average is good for 10th best in the country.
