On Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m., former South Side High School standout Kristian Holder took the field with the Tennessee State Tigers, who were defeated 13-2 by the UT Martin Skyhawks in NCAA Division I softball action.

Tiger Field hosted the contest, marking the season’s first meeting between the Tigers and the Skyhawks.

Holder pitched 0.2 innings, surrendering four earned runs and issuing two walks.

The Tigers will play the Skyhawks again at 3 p.m. at Tiger Field.
