Regular gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.36 per gallon at one gas station in Hardin County during the week ending Feb. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $2.48 per gallon for regular gas.
Hardin County had seven of 23 reported gas stations offering regular gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in Tennessee was $2.51, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
